“Seizure Smart Diet” will include presentations by medical professionals and nutritionists that will cover issues such as how the Modified Atkins Diet and other lifestyle modifications can have an effect on an individuals’ well-being. Additional healthy eating tips will be discussed.
The program will be presented by Antoneta Balabanov, MD of Rush University Medical Center; Robyn Blackford, Senior Clinical Nutritionist from Children’s Memorial Hospital; and Renee Zonka, Dean of Culinary Arts at Kendall College. A cooking demonstration and free buffet lunch will also be included.
