“Tee Off” to Help Send Kids to Camp at Annual EFGC Golf Outing

On Tuesday, August 30, 2011 the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago will host its 11th annual “Tee Off for Camp Blackhawk” golf outing at Ruffled Feathers Golf Club in Lemont, IL. The golf outing will benefit Camp Blackhawk, the Foundation’s week-long summer camp for kids and teens with epilepsy. This year, the camp hosted 60 campers ages 6-18. 

“Tee Off for Camp Blackhawk” is a scramble format outing with prizes for the top team, a raffle, and many on-course contests, including “Golf Ball Gun,” “Scattered Flags,” and “Money Bags.”  Registration begins at 12:30 p.m., followed by a 1:30 p.m. shotgun start. Box lunches will also be provided. Cocktails and dinner will begin at 6 p.m. 

The cost for the event is $250 per golfer. Dinner tickets can be purchased for non-golfers for $50. Online event registration is available by clicking here. Ruffled Feathers Golf Club is located at 1 Pete Dye Drive in Lemont, IL.
