On Saturday, October 20, ParentLink, a FREE educational program that addresses a variety of issues for parents of children with epilepsy will be held at Comer Children’s Hospital at the University of Chicago.

Topics to be discussed include seizure recognition and first aid, as well as how to cope with epilepsy. The program will be presented by Tina Drossos, PhD, an assistant professor at the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience of Comer Children’s Hospital. In addition, there will be a concurrent educational and support session for children and teens ages 8 – 17.

Lunch will be provided. Parking is available at a discounted rate in the garage across from the Bernard A. Mitchell main entrance on Maryland Ave.
