On Sunday, October 21, 2012, join runners and walkers from all over the Chicago area, for Paul’s Run for Epilepsy – a 5K walk-run event that benefits the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago’s many programs and services for those living with epilepsy. This year’s 5K takes place at the Gary Morava Center in Prospect Heights, Illinois.
The event is named in memory of Paul Schmidt, a young man who died of SUDEP (Sudden Unexplained Death in Epilepsy) in 2008. Paul’s Run features a timed 5K race, a walk, and a 1 mile kids run. Attendees are also invited to attend the Health and Wellness Fair, featuring a variety of vendors and health service providers. All participants will receive a Paul’s Run t-shirt on the day of the event. To register for the Paul’s Run for Epilepsy 5K Run/Walk, click here.
