Managing Students with Seizures, a program designed to teach school nurses about epilepsy, with take place Thursday, June 6, 2013. The program will include two sessions. The first session will focus on appropriate first aid, current treatment options, side effects, the impact of seizures and behavior, and more. The second session will focus on concussion safety, including the signs and symptoms of a concussion, managing students with a concussion, supporting a safe return to school, sports, work, and other activities. 

This program will be held at the Baby Fold at the Hammitt School and Consultation Center in Normal, IL. There is no cost to attend and free parking is available. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. Free 3.2 CNEs are also available!
