Have you ever been hurt by a stigma beyond your control? Felt you couldn’t participate in something and had to sit on the sidelines? Come join us for this 3 day FREE basketball camp for boys and girls, ages 8-17 with epilepsy. This energy-filled day camp is led by Mighty Mike Simmel of the world famous Harlem Wizards. Learn about hoops and have fun in a supportive environment where only your will can define your limits. Like all our camps, the emphasis is on fun, but kids will discover empowerment. Camp sessions are from 9:30am to 12:00pm daily with a nourishing snack provided by our sponsor Whole Foods. Together with nurturing from camp counselors, understanding from camp director Mike Simmel and support from fellow players, campers will rise above the unfair stigma and hurtful labels. And learn some basketball too.

We will be using the facilities of the Niles North High School Field House in Skokie, IL
