Savers, one of the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago community partners, is opening a new location in Franklin Park, IL on Thursday, August 29th. The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 8:45 am and the store will open at 9:00 am.
Savers is no ordinary thrift store. As a leader and pioneer in the retail thrift industry, they’re a place where people from all backgrounds love to shop for great selection, deals and treasures. But there’s also a higher purpose for what they do. Savers was founded in 1954 on principles such as giving back and providing opportunities—core values they still embrace today. Their more than 140 nonprofit alliances share this thinking and inspire them in their work. Partnering with local charities is not a byproduct of their business—it’s how they do business. So when you shop at Savers, you help support many local community non-profits, such the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago.
Do not forget to bring a donation of clothing or household items when you visit this new Savers location. All donations directly benefit the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago’s programs and services. You can also schedule a donation pick-up time with Friends of the Epilepsy Foundation by visiting donateillinois.org or calling 855.968.3662.
Savers is the place for good deeds and great deals!
