Southwest Lake/Cook – Area 6

Welcome to the Community Action Board of Southwest Lake/Cook! We are excited to have you here!

The Community Action Boards of the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago were created so that we could come together and make a difference in the lives of the more than 130,000 people currently living with epilepsy in Illinois. Community Action Boards are the first line of contact for many of the communities we serve. Whether it’s establishing program opportunities, planning event initiatives, or discovering new fundraising opportunities, these powerful action boards build lasting relationships throughout Illinois, and help the Foundation realize its goal of creating a seizure free world.

The Southwest Lake/Cook CAB has been working hard to support EFGC’s programs and raise awareness about the foundation. Over the summer, they took part in the Palatine 4th of July Parade. This was a great opportunity to show their community how important it is to know about epilepsy and what can be done to help. Check out pictures of the group constructing their very own float and then participating in the parade!

They have a busy year ahead… check out their schedule below and see if you would like to take part!

Zip codes included in this region are:
